If Shiatsu massage is the focus of your healing career, welcome to Shiatsu Academy of Tokyo (SAT) website. SAT is a Private Career College (PCC) and a registered Shiatsu massage school in Ontario. For instruction in the art of Shiatsu massage, Ontario Canada is home to one of the eight international schools authorized by the Japan Shiatsu College to teach the Shiatsu massager the art of Traditional Japanese Shiatsu. Our school of Shiatsu in Canada includes an on-campus Shiatsu massage center, where the practitioners are students and the patients can experience Shiatsu Japanese massage, which is different from zen shiatsu that elbow and knuckle are applied. Japanese Shiatsu, which was originated by Namikoshi Tokujiro, has proven to be an effective treatment for muscular tension and a variety of other conditions, since its beginnings in the early 1900's. We teach the art of Japanese Shiatsu massage and Shiatsu massage therapy for the eventual healing of many.
